Blue2 Reader is a mobile application designed to enable users to leverage the functionalities of the Emerson Cooper-Atkins Blue2 family of devices. With this app, users can wirelessly capture temperature readings from various type K thermocouple probes directly from their mobile devices.

<li>Users must possess a Bluetooth-enabled device from Emerson Cooper-Atkins (such as Blue2, Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, Multi-Function Thermometer) and a type K thermocouple probe (available for separate purchase) to utilize the app.</li>

<li>Seamless connectivity with Emerson Cooper-Atkins Blue2 and MFT instruments via Bluetooth Low Energy, ensuring fast and reliable connections.</li>
<li>Real-time display of accurate temperature readings with customizable update intervals: every 1 to 5 seconds for Blue2 devices, and every 1 to 60 seconds for Blue2-D and Blue2-DIR.</li>
<li>Easy switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius on the Blue2 instrument, directly accessible on the Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, and MFT instruments.</li>
<li>One-touch temperature readings capture capability from both the Blue2 devices and the mobile app.</li>
<li>User-selectable auto shut off feature to preserve battery life, with customizable inactive time durations (1 to 30 minutes for Blue2, 1 to 60 minutes for Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, and MFT).</li>
<li>Battery charge level display for Blue2 instruments for added convenience.</li>
</ul>

Blue2 Reader is primarily intended for showcasing the functionalities of Emerson Cooper-Atkins Blue2 devices for hardware evaluation purposes. Moreover, app developers can utilize this tool to explore the GATT database on the Blue2 family of devices and also facilitate firmware updates on the Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, and MFT instruments.
