Blue2 Reader is a mobile application designed to enable users to leverage the functionalities of the Emerson Cooper-Atkins Blue2 family of devices. With this app, users can wirelessly capture temperature readings from various type K thermocouple probes directly from their mobile devices.

Users must possess a Bluetooth-enabled device from Emerson Cooper-Atkins (such as Blue2, Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, Multi-Function Thermometer) and a type K thermocouple probe (available for separate purchase) to utilize the app.

The key features of Blue2 Reader include:

Seamless connectivity with Emerson Cooper-Atkins Blue2 and MFT instruments via Bluetooth Low Energy, ensuring fast and reliable connections.
Real-time display of accurate temperature readings with customizable update intervals: every 1 to 5 seconds for Blue2 devices, and every 1 to 60 seconds for Blue2-D and Blue2-DIR.
Easy switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius on the Blue2 instrument, directly accessible on the Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, and MFT instruments.
One-touch temperature readings capture capability from both the Blue2 devices and the mobile app.
User-selectable auto shut off feature to preserve battery life, with customizable inactive time durations (1 to 30 minutes for Blue2, 1 to 60 minutes for Blue2-D, Blue2-DIR, and MFT).
Battery charge level display for Blue2 instruments for added convenience.

Blue2 Reader is primarily intended for showcasing the functionalities of Emerson Cooper-Atkins Blue2 devices for hardware evaluation purposes.
